When I was 5 years old, I made a Birthday wish to collect blankets for The Homeless for my 6th Birthday. With the help of the community, In 9 days I was able to collect 264 blankets. We handed them out to the needy at The Las Vegas Rescue Mission after their Thanksgiving meal. Also a Donation of over $1,300 was made directly to the Las Vegas Rescue Mission in my honor.  The next year in November of 2009, for my 7th birthday I had a goal to collect 307 Blankets and Jackets. So many people helped me, I collected 609 blankets and jackets. My family and other volunteers handed them out with me on my Birthday at the Las Vegas Rescue Mission to the needy after they were served a warm Thanksgiving meal. To everyone who has helped me,  Thank You!   Blaze Trumble
